The Massachusetts Department of Public Health's (MDPH) Center for Emergency Preparedness held 16 regional Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) exercises in the fall of 2006. MDPH required assistance organizing, assigning, inviting and registering 1,450 attendants to specific locations throughout the state. Finer Points Planning developed an efficient and customized registration process that directed attendants automatically to their assigned exercise, encouraged easy registration and delivered event confirmations including driving directions and event reminders.
